My nine-year-old has a mini fridge in her room – I stock it with snacks and it stops her from bingeing on junk food
It can be the variety of issue most 9-12 months-olds could only dream of obtaining in their bedroom.
But mum Monica Brady insists that retaining her daughter’s mini fridge stocked with treats and beverages stops her from bingeing on junk food stuff.

Monica took to TikTok to share a movie of herself restocking the Firares mini fridge.
She started with two mini bottles, which she loaded up with water and then put in the fridge, alongside 4 bottles of Hawaiian Punch blue consume.
Then arrived the foods.
As well as a glass box total of KitKat Thins, Monica set in some milk chocolate M&Ms, Juicefuls fruit snacks and Slim Jim meat sticks.
She concluded the restock by putting 10 mini bars of Hershey’s milk chocolate in the doorway of the fridge.
Commenting on the post, one individual wrote: “I find that by preserving treats and chocolate out in the open, it develops more of ‘healthy’ mentality?
“It is not something we have to INDULGE and BINGE.”
And Monica replied: “Just! My children are so use to all this remaining close to, they genuinely really do not binge.”
“How lengthy does it normally get for it to be empty?” someone else requested.
With Monica responding: “A while! She doesn’t truly get into her mini fridge often..only typically when close friends are more than.”
“I adore that you do this,” a further comment read.
“I sometimes wake up in the center of the night extremely hungry so I retain a mini fridge in bed room as nicely – it can be helpful!”
